CONSTRUCTION

Turntable:

• 3/8” steel floor plate, 48” diameter

• 2-7/8” height form floor.

Frame:

• Structural tube, plate and bar, meet ASTM-A36 or ASTM-A500

• Fork pockets for in plant movement.

• Structural tube, plate and bar, meet ASTM-A36 or ASTM-A500

WRAP OPERATION

Normal Start Position:

Film Lift - DOWN

Platen - UP

1. Operator slides lower fixture to slightly less than the product width, centering on turn
table, then sets product on fixture. Position top of product under upper fixture and
lower top fixture (platen) to stabilize product.

2. Operator applies edge protectors as required and attaches film to product by tucking
between product and lower fixture.

3. Move clear of turntable.

4. Operator starts wrap cycle.

5. When system has completed its automatic wrap cycle, the operator cuts the film.

6. Raise the platen and remove product.

DESCRIPTION OF AUTOMATIC WRAP CYCLE

Operator initiates the wrap cycle by pushing the 'START' button

1. Turntable starts.

2. Film tension comes on gradually.

3. After bottom reinforcing wraps, the film carriage starts up and travels to the
top of product.

4. Film carriage stops and places the reinforcing wrap on the top.

5. Film carriage returns to the bottom, the system will decelerate and index to
the home position.

DRIVES

Turntable:

• 1/2 hp. 2.3 amp. AC variable speed motor with solid state Telemecanique AC Drive controller and inline reducer. #50 chain drive 0-16 RPM

Film Lift:

• 1/2 hp. 2.3 amp. AC variable speed motor with solid state Telemecanique AC Drive controller and right angle gear reducer. #50 chain drive.

Platen:

• 1/2 hp. 2.3 amp. AC variable speed motor with solid state Telemecanique AC drive controller and right angle gear reducer. #50 chain drive.

Film Tension:

• 16 ft/lb. 90v DC brake with electronic controller
