speed motor with electronic controller.
Right angle gear reducer and
#50 chain drive.
Film Tension: 90v DC brake with
controller
Program- (Spiral)
Operator places load on turntable
and attaches film to load. Begins
wrap program "START".
Turntable drive starts and film tension
comes on after a programmed time
delay. System wraps
bottom of load a preset number of wraps (Bottom
Wraps) and film lift motor
comes on to raise carriage to the
top limit switch (or photo-eye), the film
carriage pauses for the preset top
wraps (Top Wraps), and then goes
down to bottom limit switch. System
will repeat cycle for the preset
number of layers and then turntable will
return to the home position, stop
and reset. "E- Stop"
will stop the system at any time and
reset all times and counters.
"Cycle Interrupt"
stops the program but does not reset the
timers and/or counters. "Jog"
will run turntable only for
as long as it is held in. "Raise"
and "lower" control the
film elevator carriage.
"Pause" will stop the
film carriage only.
Operator will now cut and secure
the film and unload.

Quality-
Shop acceptance test: Structural load
test will be performed at 150% of rated
load, I.e. 15,000
pounds. All welds to be
tested per the Trupact II specification.
Before Shipment: Operating trial
and acceptance tests will be performed in
our shop. For this, a
sample load (empty)
is expected to be provide to
Kalamazoo Packaging Systems
at no charge.
