Semi-Automatic Window and/or Panel Spiral Stretch Wrap System Model 939-M9
There are nearly as many custom stretch wrap machines as there are applications. Because products vary, so do machine environments and designers' approaches to how best do the job. Different companies have their own special method on how to do it. At Kalamazoo Packaging Systems, the challenge was finding an efficient alternative to banding, boxing or cartoning windows. Our end result will also wrap doors, partitions and other similar products. Our high speed semi-automatic spiral system is used with the product set on a turntable in a lower fixture, with a top platen to stabilize the load. The operator attaches the film to the product and presses the wrap cycle start button. when the cycle is complete, the film is cut. The top platen is raised and the product is ready for shipment. The wrapper has a programmable logic controller to provide automatic height sensing and flexibility of wrap patterns. The model 939-M9, is a high speed low profile wrap system designed to wrap windows, doors, office panels and other similar products quickly and efficiently. The 60" diameter low profile turntable has a non-skid floorplate surface, 0 - 16 RPM variable speed drive, and an adjustable width fixture to capture the bottom of the product. The semi-automatic spiral film applicator has a programmable controller with multiple wrap patterns, a 30" variable tension film delivery system and an automatic product height sensor as standard. A 30" powered pre-stretch is available as an option.
